OUTSTANDING SERVICE, ADVOCATE, AND EDUCATOR AWARDS - Nominations For 2008
The Northshore Council PTSA is accepting nominations for Outstanding Advocate, Outstanding Educator, and Outstanding Service for 2008. All of the awards donate funds to support financial grants for students pursuing post-secondary education. The awards will be presented at the May 21, 2008 Northshore Council Recogntion Brunch.
Each of these nominations need to be postmarked or E-mailed by the deadline of Friday, April 25, 2008. Please print out this page and mail your nominations to:

Outstanding Advocate
The Outstanding Advocate Award is offered by the Washington State PTA to recognize and honor individuals for continued and dedicated service to ALL children and a demonstrated commitment to helping create strong policies relating to the health, welfare, safety, and education of children and youth. Outstanding Educator
The Outstanding Educator Award is offered by the Washington State PTA to recognize individuals who go beyond the normal expectations of their jobs to make the learning environment fun, beneficial, and challenging. (Past Outstanding Educator Award recipients: John Bond, Bridget Martin, Deborah Engelbrekt-Stone)

Outstanding Service
The Outstanding Service Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Washington State PTA, is presented to an individual who may have already been honored and who has continued to give extraordinary volunteer service to children. Such as recipient is someone who works for children beyond the bounds of a job, PTA or specific school community. This person is concerned with ALL children and willing to work to help them achieve their potential. (Most recent past Outstanding Service recipients: Martha Baldwin, Becky Birch, Sudene Snyder)
