PTA Presidents' and Principals' Brunch/Luncheon

The purpose of this event is to help foster a collaborative working relationship between the school administration and the leadership of the local PTA unit associated with the school.

This event is free! Northshore PTSA Council covers all the costs. This light brunch or luncheon is held in the month of October during an already scheduled Principal meeting called by the District. The venue for the event is the Ricketts Board Room at the Monte Villa Administrative Center during a break time in the Principal's meeting. This brunch/luncheon typically lasts about 1 1/2 hours.

Invited guests include:

* Principals and other administrative staff that would attend the District Principals' Meeting,

* PTA Presidents/Vice-Presidents

* Northshore School Board

* District Administration: i.e. Karen Forys, John Bond, Eric Barnum, Communications Director

* Northshore PTSA Council's Executive Committee and BOD members

Agenda varies dependent on pertinent topics decided upon by the current Northshore PTSA Council President(s) and/or the event chairperson but typically would include an ice-breaker, brief comments from the NSD Superintendent and Region 6 Director, an exercise to help the Presidents' and Principals' understand their different personality styles and allows plenty of time for them to network.

The event will be publicized in many ways including personal written invitation, Council Website, and personal contact from Region VPs.   Please RSVP in a timely manner.

Every local unit is responsible for insuring representation at this event. If the president is unable to attend, then someone else from your Executive Committee should attend in their place. If no one from your Executive Committee can attend, then someone from your Board Of Directors should.
