Region 6 Roundtable on November 15, 2007!
The Region 6 Roundtable will be held at Hamilton International School, 1610 N 41st . Seattle, on Thursday, November 15 from 6:30p.m. - 8:30 p.m.. The Roundtable will begin at 7 p.m. We will meet as a group at first for introductions, and then break into groups to meet with legislators from each area. Directions from Bothell Way are: Head west on NE Bothell Waytoward Seattle, Turn right at NE 145th St/WA-523, Turn left to merge onto I-5 S, Take exit 169 toward NE 45th St, Merge onto 5th Ave NE, Turn right at NE 45th St, Turn left at Wallingford Ave N, 1610 N 41st St, Seattle.
Join other parents and your local legislators at a Legislative Roundtable to discuss this year's WSPTA priority issues. WA State PTA Regions 6 will meet face-to-face with our legislators to review our legislative priorities, express concerns and ask questions about the upcoming legislative session. Now is the time to meet with them -- Our legislators need to hear our PTA voice -- before the legislative session begins in January.
You can also join us in Olympia for WSPTA Focus Day, but this opportunity is a bit closer to home! We will first meet in small groups to talk one-on-one with our local legislators, and then there will be a moderated panel discussion. You don't have to say a word, just come and listen. There is power in numbers. The more parents that attend, the louder the message that we send.
Legislators hear so often from lobbyists and special interest groups. Our Legislators need to hear from you!
